Moving & Handling of People - Half Day Introduction
Overview
This certificated manual handling course covers basic foundations in the safe moving & handling of people within hospitals,care homes and domicillary care.
The course is designed to meet the learning outcomes for the Skills for Care induction standards and NVQ/SVQ's and the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999, Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 and Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998.
Who is it for?
To meet compliance with CSCI and current legislation ALL staff involved in the moving & handling of service users must receive manual handling training if they have no valid manual handling certificate.
